New Sounds from Sequences

A little late on this, but Sequences is involved in this three way split / collaboration; so, it is due attention.

Monolithic riffing and ambient drones by Syndrome (soloproject from Mathieu V. from Amenra), Monotonos and Sequences.
Fall of Man was conceived to commemorate their combined Paris show on the 3d of November 2011. Each band contributed one brandnew and previously unreleased track, with the last track of the album being an exclusive collaborative effort.
Only 200 hand numbered copies available on cd (NO cd-r). The cd is held by an envelope and accompanied by 6 customized cardboard cards.

Tracklist:
1. Moon when Wolves run Together (12'24")
By Syndrome
2. All seemed so clear, yet now so distorted (13'38")
By Monotonos
3. Shattered Gleam (12'04")
By Sequences
4. Layered (15'56")
By Syndrome, Monotonos & Sequences

Speaking of Sequences

Hot on the heels of their split with Isolated Existence pre-order on Music Ruins Lives and their appearance on the Life In The Dark 2xCD (also on MRL) with a Remix, Sequences is also about to drop a 2xCS collaboration / split with Livimorket on Sunyata. This is limited to 30 copies and the pre-order is still live.

Here is more on the release from Sunyata:

HOUR long collaborative track, split over 4 sides. Utter blackness, no hope, no future, only slowly rising, ever depressing drone. Livimørket - guitar, looping. Sequences - drones, noise.

2 labelled cassettes, 12 page mini "zine" style booklet containing distorted imagery and words + a hand-written scrap ripped from personal diary entries, each one unique. Housed within a rough, handmade custom paper sleeve with pasted on artwork, numbered on the back.

Do not wait as these probably will not last much longer.

Music Ruins Lives Continues Its Assault

Two more releases just went up for pre-order from the fine folks at Music Ruins Lives.

First up, the Sequences and Isolated Existence Split CD, Graminaea/Poaceae. This release was previously a cassette release and is now getting the CD treatment with a bonus track that is a collaborative work between both artists. Check out the Sequences track here.

Next up is the equally excellent Life In The Dark release. This 2xCD compiles the awesome The Sunya Is Rising EP (streamable here) with bonus remixes from Planning For Burial, Greys, Sequences, and Njiijn as well as the extremely limited (13 copies) Limbs In Gloom EP.

Order both releases here (and while you are at it, grab the Bad Braids cassette and the Tom Vourtsis CD... you won't be sorry).

The Sequences / Isolated Existence is limited to 100 copies.

The Life In The Dark to just 50 copies and is going extremely fast... so do not sleep on it or miss out completely on what may be one of the best releases this year.
