Life In The Dark's music is just too great to disappear on extremely limited cassettes. Originally released by Sunyata Recordings earlier this summer. Zen was kind enough to provide us with an exclusive track just for this release.

Vit Pre-orders Up at Music Ruins Lives

I was psyched when I got Vit's "-" off a blog several months back (around the time of their tour with Vestiges. Now it is seeing a bit of a wider release.

"Mainly VIT play a mix of funeral doom and black metal but there are also death, post, atmospheric and sludgy parts. Some acoustic guitars are leading you to folk paths. The mood changes in this album are more than many. The funeral doom parts are heavy as hell. This evil heaviness leads to black metal bursts with some slow blast beats. Death, post and sludge parts have some great riffs to offer to us, in many cases away from the dark atmosphere the doom-black metal parts created." - noiZine

This has been floating around on a few blogs for the last year or so, but besides a handful of wooden box limited editions made by the band this has never seen a proper release.

Music Ruins Lives Continues Its Assault

Two more releases just went up for pre-order from the fine folks at Music Ruins Lives.

First up, the Sequences and Isolated Existence Split CD, Graminaea/Poaceae. This release was previously a cassette release and is now getting the CD treatment with a bonus track that is a collaborative work between both artists. Check out the Sequences track here.
























Next up is the equally excellent Life In The Dark release. This 2xCD compiles the awesome The Sunya Is Rising EP (streamable here) with bonus remixes from Planning For Burial, Greys, Sequences, and Njiijn as well as the extremely limited (13 copies) Limbs In Gloom EP.

Music Ruins Lives Keeping The Momentum Going

After an intense kick off to their existence, The Music Ruins Lives folks are continuing their furious activity with a slew of upcoming releases, beginning with their most recent, Planning For Burial's Untitled record (which may not be available for much longer).

On February 8th, the label has two more new releases that will go up for pre-order (with a release in March sometime).

























First up is a limited cassette release from Bad Braids for the album Arrow And Orb, which you can check out here.





























Next up will be the CD version of Mothhunting from Tom Vourtsis, which you can check out here.

Both releases are going to be excellent so keep an eye out as these do go fast. MRL has still more awesome releases to be officially announced, but trust me... they will knock your socks off.
