The Love Below Also Drops...

...their first full length. Every Tongue Shall Caress (great album title) shows why they are great and highly underrated. Grab it here on black (of 350) or here on Black / Tan (of 150).

California's THE LOVE BELOW are back with their first full length LP. Thirteen tracks of frantic hardcore that sounds like Left For Dead/Cursed with some Pentagram meets Black Flag-esque guitar work. Truly a breath of fresh air/originality in a time when a lot of bands wear their influences on their sleeves. If you loved their previous 7"s, this LP will blow you away!

The Love Below also have their demo available on a Flexi 7" (200 on Yellow) here

Pick Your Side's First LP...

...is now available via A389. The color blew out prior to the album actually coming out. You can grab it here on black.

The wait is over at last! PICK YOUR SIDE features ex/current members of Haymaker/Left For Dead/Fuck The Facts/Burst Of Silence playing fast heavy pissed off hardcore that sounds like everything you'd hope it sounded like. First pressing of the LP comes in gatefold packaging with sick artwork by the legendary Ed Repka.

A389 Recordings Monster Update Part I

With the A389 Anniversary Show in the history books, here is one of the special releases from that show. With Pulling Teeth officially done, this is a neat addition to their discography or related discography.

A389's Anniversary Bash...

...will see the release of a bunch of new records from A389. And for those of us that cannot make said bash, these will be hitting the A389 webstore shortly thereafter.

Pictured above is the Integrity Kingdom of Heaven 7" which features all of the tracks that the Melnick era band recorded with drummer David Nicholi Araca (whose life was tragically cut short) for the first time ever on vinyl.  It looks great.

Integrity by A389Recordings

This little baby is the "Evacuate" Flexi 7" from Integrity. If you have never heard the band's take on this classic hardcore anthem from Negative Approach, then you are missing out... limited and probably a bonus item in the package deal.

Next up is Junior Bruce, the new vehicle for the formal vocalist of the almighty Bloodlet (and the criminally underrated Hope & Suicide), Scott Angelacos. The demo is pretty sweet; so, I am anxiously awaiting this record.

JuniorBruce by A389Recordings

The other two records include the 7" from Unholy Majesty and the Young and in the Way 2x12"... all good stuff.

A389 Black Friday Releases: Pale Creation

This record has a real special place in my heart; one that I will not get into here. Twilight Haunt is the shining example of what Pale Creation can and has done with their music... their piece de resistance if you will. This is finally available on vinyl and will go quickly.

Fans, the wait is over.

Hailing from the Cleveland area, PALE CREATION took their cues from their peers in INTEGRITY and RINGWORM and fused it with the Darkwave/Goth influnces of such bands as Joy Division and Ministry.

Originally released on CD in 1999 via East Coast Empire, PALE CREATION's masterpiece 'Twilight Haunt' is now available for the first time on vinyl as a limited edition one-time pressing of 250 copies with never before seen photos/lyrics.

The time has come to accept this gift of art.

A389 Black Friday Releases: Anne

Anne is a huge step in a new direction for A389; actually, the idea that this record is coming out on this label is still rather mind blowing. Dream Punx comes on two colors of vinyl (black and a Purple / White halo type mix, which is pretty sharp looking) as well as with a download card.

We're thrilled to bring something new to the table in the form of Portland, Oregon's shoegaze band: ANNE. 'Dream Punx' is their debut LP which consists of new material alongside tracks from their highly sought-after self released mixtapes. Fans of My Bloody Valentine and Lush rejoice, you may have found your new favorite band.

Get the Purple / White halo type mix vinyl here and the black vinyl color here

A389 Black Friday Releases: Enforcers

Another monster release from A389, Enforcers sound tough as hell on this debut LP, The End Of Time. The LP comes with a download card and on two color variations for your choosing (Black and Red).

Hailing from the city of Montreal and boasting ex-members of A Death For Every Sin/Final Word, ENFORCERS unleash their debut 12" which delivers the perfect dose of early 1990s NYHC crossover in the vein of STIGMATA and 'Best Wishes'-era CRO-MAGS.

A389's Latest Batch of Releases: Ringworm & Mindsnare Split

Ringworm follows up their latest LP (Scars, on Victory Records) with this split 7" with Australian powerhouse Mindsnare.

Cleveland hardcore legends RINGWORM return with two new/unreleased crushers from the vaults. Never before heard until now! The flipside of this split 7" is sure to make your blood pressure rise...with two new tracks by MINDSNARE!!!

First pressing comes packaged as a mini 8-panel EC comics style insert illustrated by the Human Furnace.

Human Furnace has an incredibly crazy visual style, so the comic book is probably a trip and the 7" cover is a nice throwback to old EC Comics horror titles, classic.

The Love Below and Homewrecker Team Up

...For a new split 7" via the awesome A389 Records. The Love Below is some serious Left For Dead style snotty hardcore, love them. This is my first introduction to Homewrecker.

Either way, this 7" looks awesome and will probably be awesome. Two colors to consume Grey available here and Green (appropriate considering the artwork) available here.

If you have yet to hear The Love Below, don't wait any longer. Go to A389 and listen to the media player for both bands.

The Love Below have a previous 7" (available here) that rocks.
